  Basic Information Full name: Laurens. No last name known. Nickname: N/A. (Give him one?) Name on identification: Laurens. Age: 23. Gender: Trans male. Species: Faun. Sub-species/breed: Lesser Faun. (Less extreme physical traits of the species, less powerful magic.) Physical Appearance Body type: 5'9" and 130 lbs. Lean, slender, with the faintest hint of curves. Hips are slightly wider than his shoulders. Physical Details: Curly brown hair, dark brown eyes. Slightly tanned skin tone. Dark brown 'goat' ears and banded, brownish ram's horns. Dark brown tufted tail. Physical markings: Only marking which has been observed thus far is the scar which narrowly misses the outside corner of his left eye, a 'gift' from his capture. Physical drawbacks: Not very strong physically, as he's built more for speed. Current infliction(s): An almost ever-present headache due to the suppression of his magickal abilities. A bit weak from recent reduced rations. Physical defenses: Arguably his horns and the hard head to match, but they're no match for what most folks are packing. Appealing attributes: Fairly attractive (if surly), somewhat rare species, in good physical condition, skin is almost flawless save for the lone facial scar. Clothing: At present, nothing more than a basic tunic, tied in place with a rope, and a pair of simple brown sandals. Also wears the standard Tether collar and a set of matching bracers which dampen his abilities. Other items: The only item the slave was allowed to keep when he was captured was crude, hand-made set of pan flutes. Currently in the possession of the Golden Tether and released to renters or his future owner upon request.

  Behavior Feral or cultured: Semi-cultured. Phobias: Slowly developing claustrophobia. Disorders: Anxiety disorder. How do they present themselves: Tends to come across as surly, irritable, and withdrawn most of the time. It's unclear if this is the slave's natural temperament or a reaction to enslavement. Feelings towards being owned / rented: Bitter, displeased, reluctant at best. Overall attitude: Wary, slow to open up to others. (See previous note regarding how slave presents himself.) Quirks: None yet observed. (TBD.) Hobbies / interests: Music, dance, plants, animals, gardening, nature, etc. Known to be a worshipper of the Roman god Faunus and grows particularly antsy and aggressive if not allowed to occasionally partake in active worship activities. High or low maintenance: Medium. Does not appear to desire many 'high-class' niceties and is obviously accustomed to a fairly simple life. Currently untrained & hasn't accepted his new status as a slave and is higher maintenance as a result. Diet / allergies: Vegetarian. Primarily fruits and vegetables with occasional grains, legumes, etc. Abilities Language(s) spoken: Common, Latin confirmed. Other languages suspected. Can they read / write: (TBD.) Can your character produce magic: Yes. Capable of minor magick related to plants and animals. Able to coax plants to grow more heartily or (reluctantly) wilt. Can communicate with and befriend animals. Talents / skills: Plays serviceable music on the pan flutes. Enjoys dance, which could be easily shaped into entertainment for patrons. Excellent gardener, skilled at gathering wild fruits, vegetables, etc. Knowledge of herbal remedies. Training: Some basic training on not being a smartass, courtesy of Ayla Titus. Other Current owner: The Golden Tether. (Unowned.) Previous owners: An NPC who raided the woodland temple where Laurens lived and worshipped, destroying, slaughtering, and enslaving the inhabitants. What are you looking for in a slave / slaver roleplay: I'm looking for someone who can ideally help Laurens learn to accept his new status, and especially someone who can help train him. Long-term, someone he can grow to appreciate and become loyal toward. What are your allowances for your character: Most things. No death, unlikely dismemberment. Please ask before doing even short-term/temporary damage to him. Long-term/short-term: Either/both! Long-term preferred but happy with any RP. General Information Character Description: > A willowy figure, all sinew and tight-wound tension. Haughty indifference most often graced his angular face, dark chocolate eyes narrowed in wary observation of his surroundings. A single scar slashed across the outside corner of his left eye, no doubt nearly missing blinding him when it was given. Curled ram's horns wrapped around his ears, often perked to better overhear others' conversation. A long tail, tufted much like a lion's, swayed behind him. The slave was most often dressed in a plain white tunic and sandals. The standard golden collar was locked around his throat, with matching cuffs secured in place to put a damper on his minor magick.
